I’ll add some practice in the real world

Chapter 147 146 Combining agriculture and martial arts with a hoe

Chen Jue?

It turns out that Patron Chen, who has defeated all the masters in the world and is the number one among millions of soldiers, is here!

Alchemy Master Chen is proficient in martial arts, no wonder he can recognize Xin Yibo's airs at a glance.

It is natural that the nephew of Master Yantong should be defeated at the hands of the benefactor Chen. After all, the benefactor is already a master who has attained the Tao, and his body is as sacred as my Buddha. Master Jiande probably heard the name of Chen Jue and bowed slightly. , invited Chen Jue to sit on some stone benches next to the stone temple, and continued to overlook the young monks harvesting wheat fields below.

Out of curiosity, Chen Jue used his heavenly and human senses to observe Master Jiande. He found that Master Jiande also had a strong spiritual imprint on him.

It was the same sincerity of devoutly worshiping the Buddha as Monk Yantong, but the sincerity of the eminent monk in front of him was even stronger.

In addition, the opponent's kung fu has obviously been practiced to an extremely advanced level. Although he does not hold the elixir and sit on his hips, the opponent's energy and blood are restrained, and he has obviously half-stepped into the colorless and formless Buddhist relic realm. .

This eminent monk's spiritual practice is so profound that he is probably even more powerful than half the white tiger.

“I didn’t expect that there is such an accomplished monk hiding in the Shaolin Temple!”

Being pure and separated from the secular world, is this the way to combine Zen and martial arts? Chen was determined to be curious and looked at the environment in the stone temple.

Chen Jue found that except for a few clay Buddha statues, there was nothing else in the stone temple, and there were no electrical wires.

Compared to the endless stream of incense and the splendid environment in the Shaolin Temple scenic area below, this mountaintop stone temple is a completely poor place that only ascetics can endure.

The young monks below, after cutting a crop of wheat fields, slowly collected the grain. After collecting the grain, they sent it into the cellar of the stone barn. They came up with sickles and then put on the grain again. With a hoe, he began to dig the dirt on the flat soil in front of the stone temple.

The four young monks took hold of their hoes and began to plow the ground inch by inch. Smoke, dust, and soil scattered on the platform. Chen Jue recognized this as the hoe-plowing technique in Xin Yi Bao.

Cut the wheat stand and stick the hoe!

Master Jiande, your disciples have integrated martial arts into farming. Farming and martial arts are integrated into one, and they practice martial arts to cultivate their character. It's really a superb martial art! Chen Jue recognized the tricks inside after looking at it for a while.

Just like the folk practitioners who practiced martial arts in the countryside in ancient times, they practiced martial arts only for a short time. Most of them had to engage in farming to fill their stomachs. While farming, they integrated martial arts into their daily farm work, such as cutting wheat and pouting. Every time you hit the hoe, you are practicing. Once you have mastered the practice and come out of the mountain, you will defeat all the masters. Then you will humbly mention to your colleagues: They are all just crops.

The Xin Yi Bao of this Shaolin temple's unique teaching contains a similar cultivation intention of integrating agriculture and martial arts.

After all, monks in ancient times were not able to accept offerings from so many tourists and pilgrims as they are now. Most of them had to grow vegetables and farm fields to support themselves, and their lives could be considered poor.

Even facing disaster at every turn, the only way to escape the disaster was to hide in the mountains and farmland, grow vegetables, and secretly meditate and worship Buddha.

Donor Chen, thank you very much. It's just ordinary daily work.

The mind thinks that this skill is too vicious, so it is necessary to use Buddhism to kill the anger inside. These disciples work during the day to burn off the excess energy, and at night they recite and copy scriptures, meditate and worship the Buddha, repeat it every day, and maintain the unity of knowledge and action. In this way Only then can we one day reach the state of Buddha where we know our mind and see our nature. Master Jiande put his palms together and shouted the Buddha's name.

The clear mind and seeing one's nature he mentioned is the highest level of Buddhism's cultivation. It is also the sentence mentioned in the Sixth Patriarch's Altar Sutra: One can see one's nature with clear mind, and one can become a Buddha by seeing one's nature.

Sakyamuni is the Tathagata Buddha, and becoming a Buddha means to be on par with Sakyamuni's realm.

Although Chen Jue has acquired the golden elixir and his body has forty teeth as smooth as snow like the legendary Tathagata Buddha, his Taoist heart has not yet been established and he is still in the world of mortals refining his heart, so he can only be considered successful. The body of Tathagata does not have great wisdom and wisdom comparable to Tathagata.

After sitting and observing the practice of several of his disciples with Master Jiande, Master Jiande stood up and invited Chen Jue to go to a huge rock protruding from the cliff behind the stone temple.

Chen Jue took a look at the environment of this cliff and flying rocks. After taking a few steps, there was an abyss of several hundred meters below. If he fell, he would be shattered to pieces. If he practiced Qigong regularly in this place, he should have some intention of stealing heaven's secrets and be able to do great things. Significantly improves a person's willpower and martial arts.

Almsgiver Chen, this is where the poor monks practice their daily martial arts.

I have never met the benefactor before, but I simply learned from my nephew Yantong and others that I thought you were also a highly skilled martial artist. I didn't expect to see you today. The benefactor turned out to be a Taoist master who has met my Buddha!

Since ancient times, there has been a debate that Buddhism is originally Taoism. Patriarch Sanfeng of Taoism also mentioned that the three religions are originally one family. Since the poor monk entered the temple, he has been practicing for more than 40 years and has never seen anyone like you, Almsgiver Chen. The human body is sacred, and I was shocked to see it today! I hope the benefactor will not hesitate to teach me, and discuss with the poor monk, and solve the intellectual barriers in the poor monk's heart. Master Jiande said, while giving Chen Jue a deep treatment. A gift.

Logically speaking, a monk at his age should no longer be competitive in martial arts.

It is estimated that after seeing Chen Jue's physical realm, doubts arose in his heart for a moment, just like the obstacle of knowledge and vision he mentioned. Knowing and seeing Chen Jue's physical realm is comparable to the Tathagata, but If you have not reached the level of cultivation and still have doubts and obstacles in your mind, you must experience it yourself.

Master, you're welcome. Cultivation is not a one-man journey. I have also practiced all the way, made friends, and exchanged martial arts to achieve what I have achieved today.

Since the master wants to see the Tathagata's state, he might as well experience it for himself. I hope it will be helpful to the master's future practice. Chen Jue returned the gift. He saw sincerity in this master Jiande, not like the previous one. Monk Yantong was so competitive and angry that he agreed to the other party's request to try martial arts.

Amitabha!

Thank you, Master Chen, for giving this poor monk this opportunity! After saying this, Master Jiande took off his cassock and hung it on a low bush nearby. He stood with his feet spread out and his hands loosely clasped. On both sides of the body, they gritted their teeth and stared at Chen Jue.

At this moment, Chen Jue discovered that this gentle Buddhist monk seemed to have transformed into a glaring King Kong guarding the entrance of the temple!

A violent temperament comes over you!

When Chen Jue saw this, he smiled slightly. Knowing that this was the starting point of his heart, he took his backpack and put it at his feet. Then he stood up loosely and performed a Tai Chi pose. He lazily tied up his clothes and said, Master Jiande, please!
